At this time This Company has a few positions open for some key RT personnel. One of which being a night time fabrication supervisor in Calgary, with full control over night time operations. Ideally we would like to see a Level 2 RT handle this, however, we would accept a CEDO with extensive experience to assume this responsibility. In addition we are looking for 3 experienced CEDO's who are capable of working in a group environment.

Responsibilities: 
 
• Perform quality control duties on projects / sites including:
• Perform monitoring of processes via MITPs.
• Ensure procedures are adhered to during project execution.
• Perform NDE related responsibilities on projects.
• Perform material receipt and in-process inspections to ensure compliance to BWXT standards.
• Assist with the review and completion of Work Packages.
• Assist with procedure and MITP reviews.
 
Qualifications:
 
• Post-secondary NDE / Quality Technologist diploma or related education.
• CGSB Liquid Penetrant Level 2 Certification.
• CGSB Level 2 Certification in other NDE methods would be an asset.
• CWB Level 1 or 2 Certification would be an asset.
• Extensive site work/travel (up to 70%).
• A NDE background with a solid knowledge of all NDE process is an asset.
• Familiar with the ASME Code would be an asset.
• Comfortable working in confined space situations.
• Comfortable working in a radiation environment.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and Statutory Holidays.
• Willing to work in excess of 70 hours per week.
• Must be able to work independently or in a group atmosphere.

Job Description/Requirements:

We are currently searching for a full-time, local, RT2 technician to join our Richmond office. The ideal candidate will be multi-ticketed, hold CEDO designation, be local to the Vancouver Metro/Lower Mainland area and be available for occasional overnight travel.

Primary Requirements:

-CAN/CGSB-48.9712 certified Radiographic Testing Level 2 (RT2), EMC Sector.
-Additional CAN/CGSB-48.9712 NDE certifications & CEDO is strongly preferred.
-Appropriate computer knowledge/skills (i.e. Basic office software, email etc.)
-Valid BC Driver’s License

Additional Requirements:

-Strong technical background in Industrial Radiography, with 3-5 years of experience.
-A commitment to quality inspection and reporting.
-Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes, standards and procedures.
-A high attention to detail, with excellent report writing / review skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
-A self starter with the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
