EXIGENCES MINIMALES:

•Associés ou baccalauréat d'un collège ou d'une école de commerce ou expérience équivalente
•Doit avoir une formation formelle à l'établissement et au maintien d'un programme de radioprotection.
•Doit être alphabétisé en anglais et en français
•Doit avoir une carte de certification CEDO actuelle ou l'équivalent. Préférez la certification en radiographie et en gamma (certification gamma obligatoire).

•Doit posséder les antécédents et l'expertise nécessaires pour occuper le poste de responsable de la conformité.

Job Description/Requirements:

The Eastern Canadian Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) is the technical expert on the Eastern Canadian Radiation Safety Team and acts as the principal technical resource to Eastern Canadian labs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associates or Bachelors Degree from either a college or a trade school or equivalent experience
• Must have formal training in the establishment and maintenance of a radiation protection program.
• Must be literate in both English and French
• Must have current CEDO certification card or equivalent. Prefer certification in both x-ray and gamma (gamma certification mandatory).
• Must possess the desire to develop position and take on a more compliant role in the future
• Must have the background and expertise to move into the Corporate Compliance Officer role.
• Must have (or acquire) formal training in the establishment and maintenance of a radiation protection program.
• Must possess experience in the establishment and maintenance of a radiation protection program.
• Must be a certified Radiographer.
• Must have source retrieval certification and experience.
• Must have (or acquire) formal incident investigation training
