Job Description/Requirements:

We are looking for a permanent full-time Senior NDT Technical Representative.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to company procedures and policies; Plan and budget training needs of personnel and provide training when possible/required; Development, maintenance and execution of the NDT Training plan for all NDT Technicians within Execaire and all their associated records; Responsible for employee qualification management and record keeping; Participate in the growth of the NDT business; Participate in brainstorming and executing business development strategies; Offer Sales Support for all new NDT opportunities; Assess and ensure quality control of NDT work/tools; Ensure customer billing is accomplished accurately; Price quotes for all jobs; Review work orders; Ensure radiation safety (X-Ray); Control all related records; Maintain good working relationship with customers; Meet with customers regularly and as required to ensure business needs are being met; Evaluate, budget and purchase NDT equipment; Report any instances where work does not conform to Manual; Co-ordination equipment calibrations; Implement and monitor 6S; Conduct regular departmental meetings; Promote safety awareness; Responsible for QA Auditing of Execaire off-site NDT work locations; Act as primary contact for Execaire's NDT client site visit for ensuring proper technical processes and procedures are being followed by Execaire's NDT Technicians.

In conjunction with the Level 2 NDT Technicians execute the development and approval of all Execaire NDT Techniques.
Support in-shop and on-site NDT production needs, when emergency or critical client situations exist.
Support the DOM/PRM regarding NDT matters as required.

Qualifications:

Job Description/Requirements:

We are looking for a permanent full-time Non-destructive testing (NDT) technician.

Wage from $50,000.00 to $75,000.00/year

Role: Examine the physical properties of materials and components to detect corrosion, cracks, flaws and other imperfections on aircraft and aircraft parts. Conduct radiographic, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal parts to determine if parts meet nondestructive specifications.

Job Duties:
-Reviews test orders to determine type of test requested, test procedures to follow, and part acceptability criteria; -Determines test equipment settings according to type of metal, thickness, distance from test equipment, and related variables, using standard formulas;
-Calibrates test equipment, such as magnetic particle, x-ray, and ultrasonic contact machines, to standard settings, following manual instructions;
-Sets up equipment to perform tests, and conducts tests on parts, following procedures established for specified tests performed;
-Examines surface-treated materials during penetrant and magnetic particle tests to locate and identify cracks or other defects, using black light;
-Evaluates test results against designated standards, utilizing knowledge of metals and testing experience;
-Prepares reports outlining findings and conclusions;
-May perform similar tests on nonmetallic parts or structures.

Skills Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-Completion of two years of an approved post-secondary science or engineering program (asset).
-Minimum of 3 years aviation NDT experience Solid experience in Ultrasonic (Level 2 preferred, thickness minimum) and Eddy Current Level 2 (must have practical hours completed), LPI, MPI, RT aircraft inspections;
-Possess good analytical skills;
-Be detail-oriented;
-Be able to use a wide range of tools and instruments;
-Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally;
-Have good eyesight and color vision;
-Understand health and safety issues;
-Possess a valid driver's license.
-Available to work on flexible working hours
