To support the upcoming growth of the business, Nucleom began the construction of its new headquarters last July, an investment of approximately $6 million. In addition to the project management, administrative support and business unit, a research and development laboratory on Non-Destructive Testing will be built to develop innovative inspection methods and techniques.

For Nucleom, the construction of the new headquarters will result in the consolidation of more than a hundred positions in Canada and will double the number of jobs available in Quebec within a 5-year period. As part of this growth focus, PROFIT 500 placed Nucleom as the number 1 fastest growing company in Quebec City in 2017. Since then, Nucleom has continued to grow by doubling its turnover in 2018.

During winter 2019, Nucleom will join the leading expertise of the Michelet Innovation area at 3405 Rue Pierre-Ardouin. In fact, the company is focusing on the particularly flourishing sector of Non-Destructive Testing in Quebec City, an acknowledged world leader in this field, to establish its headquarters.

The latter will support all the major contracts, thereby ensuring the integrity of equipment in the nuclear sector mainly, but also in the petrochemical, mines and infrastructure sectors. Nucleom’s projects have helped to promote public and environmental protection in these sectors.

To support the company growth, Nucleom is glad to count on its association with Investissement Québec as a financial partner, who granted a $1.733 million-dollar loan directly from their equity.

“Nucleom is led by an experienced and dynamic team that has a well-defined strategic vision for the company. We are proud to support this leader in their growth, and thereby, to play an active role in the development of Quebec’s next generation of business people. The company is in an excellent position to build on opportunities in the nuclear industry and to continue its growth”, declared Pierre Gabriel Côté, President and Chief Executive Officer of Investissement Québec.

This was also made possible through the LEED Certification Assistance Program by Vision Entrepreneuriale Québec 2023, City of Quebec. Also, a special thanks to the National Bank for their financial support in this growth project. Nucleom is also very grateful to its employees, clients and collaborators. This sustained growth over the years reflects the dedication of the entire team and their loyalty.
