The Canadian Institute for Non-destructive Evaluation (CINDE) is helping to improve access to its world-class training courses. “To support the people and companies that have been experiencing hard times resulting from a decline in oil and gas, CINDE is changing the pricing structure of our courses,” announces Glenn Tubrett, CINDE CEO. “We are happy to pass along these savings to help people who are entering the field and weathering the current economic conditions. We’re in NDT to help the industry and the people within it.

Training and development can be a very high cost for employers or employees looking to improve their capabilities.  However, not training can have far worse consequences – leading to loss of market and inability to keep up with competitors.  The new price for all courses will be $1190 for 1 week courses and $2250 for 2 week courses. This price change is a step toward ensuring that all stakeholders in the NDT community can remain competitive in the NDT industry.

As Canada’s NDT Society, we aim to improve the quality of education in non-destructive evaluation as well as assist the Canadian industry in its use of NDE. CINDE is dedicated to the growth of NDT and the success of our future non-destructive testing professionals. This new national strategy will provide support to the people and companies who have supported our organization for so long and help strengthen the industry as a whole.
