Job Description/Requirements:

Sr. Technician will conduct inspections and minor repairs / maintenance and be responsible to ensure safe work practices are followed. Must be willing to work offshore for extended periods, local and international travel required. The ideal candidate will have a combination of experience and trade certifications. Minimum Level 2 NDE certification (UT, LPI, MPI etc); Visual Inspection certification (API, NACE, CWB); Basic Survival Training (or willing to obtain); competency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

The successful applicant will have previous offshore oil & gas inspection experience (min. 5 years) with an understanding of insulation and coating practices, minor repair works and familiarity with IRATA (Rope Access) and rigging techniques. $45 - $60 /hour. Work will be performed on offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Drug and alcohol testing and security background checks will be required. Must be legally able to work in Canada.
