Job Description/Requirements:

API 510, 570, 653, IPV Inspector

Integrity Testing Services Inc. (ITS) Edmonton, Alberta

We have an immediate opening for an: API 510, 570, 653, IPV Inspector.

The qualified Inspector could be a contractor, but preferably an employee.

Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections at plant turn-arounds and projects
• Create detailed reports in a timely manner
• Liaise with administrative staff to create final reports for clients

Qualifications:
• API Certifications: API 510, 570, 653, IPV
• Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, WHMIS
• Valid Driver’s License (with a Clean Drivers Abstract)
• Detail oriented and well organized
• Strong analytical skills
• excellent communication skills
• Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
• Ability and willingness to work shifts
• Ability and willingness to travel and be away from home base for days at a time
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to comply with Corporate Drug & Alcohol Policy

We provide quality inspection and NDE services to the upstream and downstream oil & gas, petrochemical, pulp & paper, power generating & fabrication sectors through Western Canada and parts of the USA.

We have openings for API Certified/UT, MT, PT Level 1/2 technicians.

The qualified NDT technician/Inspector could be a contractor, but preferably an employee.

-Perform UT corrosion surveys

-Create detailed reports and drawings in an accurate and timely manner
-Liaise with administrative staff to create final reports for clients

Qualifications:
-CGSB UT Level 2 Certification, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
-NDE/API Certifications would be an asset
-Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, WHMIS
-Valid Driver’s License (with a Clean Drivers Abstract)
-Detail oriented and well organized
-Strong analytical skills
