Job Description/Requirements:

Canadian Engineering and Inspection Ltd. (CANEIL) is looking for Phased Array Ultrasonic Technicians with experience conducting automated and semi-automated PAUT scanning.

This position is predominantly for a week on, week off or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off position (12 hour shift) at a major site in Alberta.

Reporting directly to the Inspection Manager, some of the job responsibilities include:

-Shop inspection for new fabrication of pressure vessels, piping, etc.
-Onsite surveillance of new fabrication activities.
-Creation of technical reports.

We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive attitude. An ability to effectively work as part of a team is essential. The individual should have a desire to continue to grow their knowledge base, competency, and certifications. They should be willing to work in remote locations if required for long-term projects.The applicant must have current CGSB Level 2 certification, and experience in conducting Hydroform scanning. PCM PAUT or CSWIP PAUT certification is beneficial.

Reporting directly to the NDE Manager, job responsibilities include:
-Working on projects at client sites in Alberta and British Columbia.
-Continuing to develop and expand NDE/inspection competency and certification.
-Creation of technical reports.
-Assisting with visual inspection work, with opportunity to advance into a visual inspection focused role once competent and certified.

Qualified individuals will have at least one of the following certifications at a minimum:
CGSB UT-1
CGSB UT-2

The following additional qualifications will be an asset:
CGSB MT-2
CGSB PT-2
