Midstream Integrity Services is looking for an energetic, hard working, positive and quality oriented NDE Manager and Technician that wants to build a career within Calgary.

We are looking for a person that is flexible in their approach to work assignments and is willing to take on multiple responsibilities.

Position Description

The primary role of our NDE Technician is to be responsible for conducting NDE examinations and for completing the post-examination reporting required by Company clients. This position is the main on-site client contact in the field and is expected to communicate with onsite client representatives.

Job Description/Requirements:

Our company is currently seeking motivated NDE Inspector for permanent role in Calgary. Within this position inspector is expected to perform their tasks within an exceptional level of quality.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
- conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
- using NDT methods of inspection
- follow techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
-perform pipeline inspections, including coating assessment, corrosion deposits, documenting corrosion and ILI correlations
- ensure strict adherence to safety regulations
- apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- organize and report test results
- perform specialized inspections
Qualifications:
- CGSB Level2 MT/ PT/ UT certification required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
