IEEE FENDT 2018

Introduction to the NDT Simulation Software CIVA

Pre-registration is required. Please email Gilles Rousseau (rousseau.gilles.a@hydro.qc.ca) to register.
 
As a first activity in 2018, the CINDE chapter of Quebec is pleased to announce a conference whose theme focuses on the simulation of non-destructive testing methods and techniques with the CIVA software.
 
The presentation will focus on the CIVA software and its applications. CIVA is used to simulate test methods and inspection in the following areas:
  1. Ultrasound (conventional, TOFD, PAUT, FMC/TFM)
  2. UT data analysis
  3. Guided waves
  4. Radiography and X-ray tomography
  5. Eddy current
CIVA is used by many companies around the world to assist in the design of control methods and their qualification. You can obtain more information on the CIVA software and its modules by consulting the website of EXTENDE at the following address: http://www.extende.com

Speaker:
The conference will be presented by Fabrice Foucher, Business Manager at EXTENDE. Fabrice has been involved for many years in the simulation of NDT methods and participated in the foundation of EXTENDE in 2010 in order to widen the diffusion of the CIVA software and provide a consulting service to companies in the context of the development and qualification of controls.
